Welder/Fabricator – Green Cove Springs, FL
We need 4-6 senior-level, highly skilled Welder Fabricators with prior experience in industrial environments such as structural steel, heavy equipment manufacturing, industrial fabrication, and custom manufacturing. The role requires advanced technical expertise, precision workmanship, leadership capability, and the ability to independently execute complex fabrication projects while supporting and mentoring others.
Requirements: 10-15 years of FCAW (Flux Core) welding experience.
$28–$33 per hour (Depending on Qualifications)
Welder – Green Cove Springs, FL
Responsibilities:
– Perform fabrication and welding tasks according to project specifications
– Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings
– Operate machinery such as overhead cranes, forklifts and hand tools
– Use tools such as calipers and other measuring instruments to ensure accuracy
– Follow codes, standards, and safety guidelines during the fabrication process
– Perform basic math calculations to determine measurements and dimensions
– Work with various materials including sheet metal
– Maintain a clean and organized work area
Experience:
– Preferred candidates with 5 years of steady employment and experience
– Proficient in various welding techniques such as FCAW (Flux-Core Arc Welding)
– Familiarity with machining processes and equipment
– Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics
– Knowledge of codes and standards related to fabrication and welding
– Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
Pay is based on experience, abilities, attitude and attendance. Must be able to work overtime during the week and weekends as needed.
Typical hours are Monday-Thursday 6:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., Friday, 6:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m., and Saturdays as needed.
